hey everyone, this weeks challenge is to use ONLY Chipboard, Felt & Ribbon only on a layout or project. you can use cardstock or pattern paper as a background, but thats about it. i'd like to see how you can piece a layout together using the 3 main elements on your layout or project.

I had such a hard time picking my favorite of out of all the awesome pages from this challenge, but in the end, I chose this one, by Jill (aka Fevvers). Sweet photos, wonderful design, lovely groupings of all the diferent elements, and a beautiful color palette made this one so special:

Last weekend I went on an airplane, the 737-500, and thought I would use that number as inspiration for this week's challenge.

I think it is fun to also limit the supplies that you use, just to be different :P

Winner for HMITM #72

I really loved everyone's layouts, and it was SO hard to choose just one, but I picked Jacynthe's wonderful page, "Une Erreur Comique."

I just love the orange and blue with the black and white, and the photo and story are priceless, plus those three circle tags add such a whimsical touch!

Challenge #73 Spring Forward

Ah, spring....

In my part of the country we are starting to see signs of spring. Trees exploding, crocus' springing, pansies blooming in planters. But, I know my friends in Cleveland just got 22 inches of snow. So obviously not all weather across the country is cooperating as nicely as Seattle weather. But anyway lets celebrate Spring this day after Daylight Savings.

Add 25 flowers to your layout and upload it to 2peas before next Monday. I'll pick one and send out a RAK next week.

Challenge #72 - Opposites Attract

They say opposites attract. Let's see if that's true...

Use all or a combination of the following:

something black and something white
add more color by finding opposites on the color wheel
something smooth and something fuzzy
something old and something new
something opaque and something transparent
something angular and something with curves

And since the date is 3/4/2008, let's add the digits, which equals 17, so use at least 17 things on your layout.
