Challenge #120 - Be Thankful! {November 23 - December 6}

With Thankgiving this week, on November 26, let's document the things that make us grateful. This week, journal 26 things you're thankful for and use 26 products on your page.

A little tip so you don't lose track and have to keep re-counting: Write the numbers 1-26 and jot down things as you add them to your page.

Debbi T:

I had fun counting my blessings and using odds and ends from my stash. Here's what I used: 1) dark brown cardstock; 2) brown cardstock; 3) ledger paper; 4) yellow patterned paper; 5) Ki Memories patterned paper (trees & polka dots); 6) calendar cut-out; 7) journaling spot; 8) chipboard letters; 9) letter stickers; 10) 7G phrase sticker; 11) 7G phrase sticker; 12) word sticker; 13) label; 14) stamps; 15) stamp ink; 16) brown button; 17) yellow button; 18) embroidery floss; 19) brown leaf brad; 20) yellow leaf brad; 21) brown brad; 21) scalloped border punch; 22) notebook edge punch; 23) border rub-on; 24) rub-on birds; 25) sewing machine; 26) my computer to journal.

Lisa: I don't often make a list of all the things I am thankful for so I was very excited about this challenge. I think I will try to make a list each year from now on. Since my journaling was taking up so much of the page, I decided not to use any pictures. So here is my list...3 pieces of cardstock, 8 patterned papers, 1 rubon, 1 Colorbok Chalk, 3 different stickers, 1 pen, 2 pieces of chipboard and 7 brads.

Michelle: I really enjoyed this challenge. I didn't use the typical Thanksgiving fall colors...heck I didn't even use 2009 photos. Instead I used 2 of my favorite photos and my favorite Basic Grey Line (Lime Rickey) Ha! I used 19 stickers, 3 brads, 2 rub-on stitches, and 2 pattern papers. And heck....used a sheet of cardstock too.

Elizabeth: I love to do a layout without a photo every now and then, this seemed the perfect time. Loved arranging different journaling blocks/tags to create enough space for my 26 things. What a fun challenge!

Debi : Like Elizabeth, I enjoy a layout without a photo! This page was fun! Got to use some of my fave October Afternoon papers & lots of embellies:)
